Wine, Apricots & the Danube

Welcome to the world famous Danube valley and the Wachau, a sunny, world ranking wine growing region. The region is known for its good wine, but it is also the home of the famous Wachau Apricot.

Suggested Programme

Day 1

Arrival and dinner at your hotel.

Day 2

Day 3

Visit a local vineyard and emerge yourself in the world of the Wachauer apricot. At a family run winery, you can take part in a tasting and a guided walking tour along the path of discovery where you learn about the Original Wachau Apricot.

Visit the town of Dürnstein where you can stroll through the streets of the magical town on the banks of the Danube. To end the day, enjoy yourself during a “Heurigen” evening with local delicacies before returning to your hotel.
